Sanibel Harbour Towers Real Estate

The Sanibel Harbour Towers could be considered the gateway to Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Situated close to the causeway and adjacent to the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa, these twin condominium towers are the perfect location for beachgoers, boaters, and other water sport afficionados.

The condominium towers’ construction was completed in 1985. Located on an 88-acre peninsula in the Punta Rassa neighborhood of South Fort Myers, this was one of the first areas in southwest Florida to be developed, and ultimately a vacation and snowbird destination for many!

Sanibel Harbour Towers consists of two high rise condominium towers, aptly named Harbour and Bay View. Each tower has 12 floors and provide amazing sunset views. There are a total of 160 individual units. Some owners have purchased and combined multiple units to create larger residences.

Most of the units are two to three bedrooms, and two to three bathrooms. They range in size from 1,100 to just over 1,200 square feet.

Prices are generally around $500K to $600K but some units can fetch closer to $1 million. The condo fees range according to unit size, but in general the total annual fees are around $7,000.

Many of the units at the Sanibel Harbour Towers are used as vacation rentals. The buildings require a three-night minimum stay, but most are rented by the week or longer.

Some units are used solely as second homes for the owners. The rental to owner occupant ratio is always something good to think about when considering a condominium purchase.

There are agencies who will manage this process for you if you are interested in using your investment as a vacation rental. They are well-versed in the rental agreements. They provide cleaning before and after a stay and will manage all other aspects of vacation rentals.
