Bonita Beach Club, not to be confused with the actual beach of the same name, is an exclusive gated community, located at the northern end of Bonita Springs, right near Little Hickory Island. Originally built in 1977, the property encompasses 6 well-manicured acres, including 198 privately owned condominiums.
Most of the condominiums are rented on a monthly or seasonal basis, rather than being full time residents. The condominiums range in size from one to three bedrooms, but all have access to the grounds and amenities of the Bonita Beach Club, including the largest pool on the beach!
Due to its somewhat remote location, there are limited roadways in and out of Bonita Beach Club, including Hickory Boulevard and Estero Boulevard. However, there is excellent access to beaches and waterways for those who love the sun, sand, and water.

Bonita Beach Real Estate
Bonita Beach is strictly a condominium community, there are no townhomes or single-family residences. The buildings are situated in a U-shape on the grounds, surrounding the beautifully manicured courtyard and figure 8 shaped 67,000-gallon swimming pool.
Because of the way the buildings are situated on the property, nearly all have panoramic 360-degree views of the Gulf of Mexico and the luxury of watching beautiful sunsets every night. The property is planted with lush tropical flowers and trees to truly make it feel like a vacation paradise.
The condominiums at Bonita Beach are modest in size, ranging from 830 square feet to just over 1,200 square feet. This is the perfect size for a beach getaway or an investment rental. Most of the units include an additional storage unit as well deeded parking and access to a community bike storage area.
All 198 condominiums are privately owned, and nearly all are rented to snowbirds or tourists. The buildings are considered mid-rise, all are 7 floors, and have elevators. If you are considering one of these units as an investment, weekly rentals range from $1,400-$2,000 and monthly rentals range from $6,000-$7,500. The purchase price of a unit ranges from $400K to $700K.
Bonita Beach Amenities
HOA fees range for the units depending on size and location, but all HOA fees do cover a lot of the maintenance and recreational amenities at Bonita Beach. As a smaller community, there are no golf options at Bonita Beach, but there are other amenities available to residents. There are tennis and pickle ball courts for those interested in racquet sports. One unique amenity is an on-site car wash! For those rainy days or to keep the kids busy, there is game room with billiards and ping pong tables. Trying to keep up your exercise routine while on vacation? Bonita Beach Club has a fitness center, and shuffleboard. Looking for something quieter? There is a library room located in the building as well.
Additionally, there are community events throughout the year such as welcome back parties, bonfires and potluck barbecues.
For those who are water lovers but need a break from the beach, there are boat slips available for rent or sale if boating is more your style and a fishing pier if you’re hoping to catch a big one!
Bonita Beach Surrounding Area
Bonita Beach is set in a secluded area but can easily access local attractions and shopping via a few direct routes. The beach is obviously right outside your door, as is fishing and boating, but if you’re looking for other activities to do, it’s only a short drive to numerous golf courses and driving ranges. There is also the Everglades Wonder Gardens, a botanical garden and wildlife enclosure, a great rainy-day option for a visit with family or friends.
If you’re looking for shopping, there are many supermarkets and shopping centers in close proximity, but the highlight is the Miromar Outlets, a quick 30-minute drive, where you will find over 140 shops, most selling designer and brand name items at low prices. The outlets also have dining options and live entertainment.
For those who will be traveling to Bonita Beach from outside Florida, there is easy access to route 75 to take you north or south. Also, Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), located in Fort Myers, is a 35-minute drive.
Although Bonita Beach is somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of its larger neighbor Naples, it has plenty to offer all residents, from local beaches and amenities to dining, shopping, and cultural experiences!
